Friday July 16th

 This is our 2nd day at Lochern . We have found a small spot at the  entry gate where we have internet connection. After this we plan to explore the park a little more.  We drove the Nature Trail and found it very interesting as we could see the country which was once the Lochern Station.
It is very dry as there has been little or no rain of late. We are lucky that our caravan is parked by the  Thompson River. There is a cool change expected, no rain I hope as it will be fun driving through this black soil if it is wet.

This rusty boat was used when the property 

was flooded. No doubt the old truck was used for Station activities.
