The night on the Thompson was peaceful. Firstly we had a trip into Jundah for a little shopping---food, fuel post office etc. We then left and travelled north to Lochern N.P. We have settled here on the Thompson River again but further up stream than last night at Jundah. I do enjoy a pelican on the waters! They are beautiful graceful birds. When I see pelicans I always think of my friend Beth who loves pelicans. We will stay here for a couple of nights. The day is very warm at 30 degrees. It would be good to dive into the river but I am not quite confident to do this. We are booked here for 2 nights which should be peaceful.
